Tuesday in Vienna

So after the fiasco of delayed flights , more delayed flights and even more delayed flights finally got to Vienna

Have been there before with touring but in the summer so was lovely to see all the Christmas market etc

So we have two dates left and that’ll be the end of touring for 2017 , off for 4 weeks and then it all starts again

Also means heading home to sort out Christmas apparently all the snow has melted back in the U.K. why it couldn’t have hung around till Xmas then just appeared for the day I don’t know πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas

So as we were down to the last few UK shows we had a late start at the venue in South London so time off meant me being dragged Christmas shopping by the yanks.

Having worked in London for years first thing I noticed were they are using the same decorations in Covent Garden they have had for the last 4 years

From Covent Garden went to Carnaby Street and Liberty’s – the latter being the ultimate rip off charging Β£1 for a pine cone the same as you would pick up in a park

Then I had to go and make my credit cards cry in Victoria’s Secret, nipped in John Lewis to see Moz the under the bed monster (this is from their Christmas advert)

Then it was the bus back to Brixton before stopping off at the Bowie memorial before heading to the venue

Berlin to London to Brussels πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ πŸ‡§πŸ‡ͺ

So after a sold out show in Berlin it was straight to bed πŸ› for an early flight to London the following morning

over the years St Pancras has had really prettt Christmas πŸŽ„ trees 🌳 this year yuk looks half dead !!

Nip down the road to UCLH for a CT scan and then lunch with an old friend before back to St Pancras to catch Eurostar to Brussels

Much rather travel by train I can get more done work wise and don’t have a ton of messages when my phone goes on the other end

So we’re leaving for The Netherlands πŸ‡³πŸ‡± and then Paris on Friday which is going to be the hardest show of my career

Day off in Oslo Norway πŸ‡³πŸ‡΄

So after 3 sold out gigs we’ve finally got a day off before heading off to Germany πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ

Very impressed with the tree at the airport reminded me of the one in Trafalgar Square

View from the hotel was fantastic but really a rabbit beer bottle opener in the toilet wtf

Not much that I wanted to see so it was off to the mall with a stop at Hard Rock Cafe

So we leave for a night travelling by tour bus in 1/2 an hour – 14 hours on the road to Frankfurt lol

Moscow and Minsk

So this morning was spent doing just a little retail therapy have to say the Russians know how to decorate for Christmas

Headed off to Belarus and so far haven’t seen much apart from an Irish pub and the mall , show time tomorrow night then home for a few days

Moscow πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί

The first time I came to Russia πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί few years ago always said I’d love to return and finally with the band we have to be greeted with a bit of snow too !!

The amazing hotel

Red square

The beautiful metro

Bit of retail therapy later (as it’s already Saturday here ) then onto Belarus

Mexico πŸ‡²πŸ‡½ CityΒ

Well it’s fair enough to say they like their skulls and odd art
